You control what you upload, who can see it, and what can be shared. We design Ukoo so that families can preserve history without losing ownership.
We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We won’t share anything outside Ukoo without clear consent. Family trees can include sensitive details; we treat that responsibility seriously.
You will be able to export your data and request deletion. We believe long-term archives must still respect the right to exit.
Ukoo is Kenya-first, which means we build with local realities in mind: naming traditions, family structures, and oral histories. We aim to preserve stories without exploiting them.
We use secure infrastructure and follow best practices to protect accounts and submissions. Access controls and privacy settings are core features, not add-ons.
